Communication Breakdown

Communication Breakdown Flier

The Show

The Full Frontal Nudity juggernaut continued onward in the late summer of 2001 with Communication Breakdown. A heartwarming tale about a deaf girl who falls in love with a breakdancer in 1980's Chicago. Stephen Pearcy, former lead singer for the 80's hair metal band "Ratt" (according to fellow nudist Peter Graybeal "the only band that ever mattered") wrote and performed the sound track. Then we stopped doing the show mid-run and replaced it with a real show. This show included a trilogy of sketches about a family of ballet dancers and the erstwhile son who would rather work in an office, a glib African American who teaches ordinary white folks how to speak "Ghetto", and two nerdy singles meet in a crowded bar and discover they are soul mates. This sketch is notable for its two stars, the former Melissa Vartorella (now Melissa Bair) and Andy Batt. This was the first time the two ever performed their notorious "leg humping" gag. We are proud of them and of this milestone because, as most of you are well aware, the two went on to much fame and fortune with the two-person show "Leg Humping and fried chicken", which went on to make its broadway debut in late 2003 and continues to tour to this day. Way to go Andy and Missy! Andy? Why do you no longer return my calls? Andy? Andy?
