He finds himself in his Boston University apartment, facing his old roommate, Robert. When Danny reveals this miraculous/bizarre occurrence to Robert and explains that prior to his transformation his life was in disarray, the occult minded Robert not only accepts his story, but convinces him that he has been given a second chance and can rectify mistakes he has made by connecting with his future wife, Gwen. But when Danny attempts to alter his life story by contacting and initiating a relationship with Gwen, their relationship founders badly, and Danny must find a way to save what he believes to be his future.
