Josh Kessler first came to MadLab as an improvateur, joining the cast of Full Frontal Nudity’s 2006 production of THE LOVE JUNGLE. Prior to joining the MadLab ensemble in 2006, Josh had extensive experience in improvisational comedy, working with troupes such as Ohio Wesleyan University’s Babbling Bishops, Columbus’ Headless Horse, and Cleveland’s Off the Wall. He also organized multiple improvisational comedy workshops for at-risk youth through the Delaware County Juvenile Court and taught acting classes through John Casablancas Modeling and Career Centers before appearing nationally as the host of the game show “Dash for Dollars”. During his time on the ensemble, Josh has had the opportunity to act (in multiple productions, most recently 2009’s THE KILLING ROOM), direct (for productions such as 2007’s FFN IN SPAAAACE!!! and 3in30’s “After the Honey Dries Up”), write (for 3in30’s “After the Honey Dries Up” and “Monumental Vacation”) and, of course, improvise (in every FFN production since 2006, most recently 2009’s FFN IN REVERSE). Josh is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University and enjoys basset hounds, beer, and buffalo wings, though not necessarily in alphabetical order.
